Registration Information-2018

Please turn in all registration materials below to the office by April 24th.  Required paper work # 1 & 2 below:

  1. Registration Packet** and Participation Donation-Click Here  **Concussion Form- Here Required( 1 form per school year) 
  2. Only if driving to events. Parent Driver Insurance Form-Click Here **REQUIRED ONE FORM PER SCHOOL YEAR

**If already registered for sport 17-18 school year and turned in forms we do not need, Field trip, Concussion, Cardiac arrest, Medical or Driver form

 Track Field is approximately six weeks long, beginning 4/25 and finishing during the week ending June 5th. The program will primarily be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. There will be a few meets that fall on Mondays. The time on a practice day will be before school in mornings Tuesdays/Thursdays and Wednesdays from 315-415. A meet day in which JM participants travel to another school may be as late as 8:00 PM.  The meet typically begins at 4:00 PM and may run three to four hours depending on the number of participants and schools involved.  If a parent is in attendance at the meet and his/her child’s events are completed, they are welcome to leave.  In previous years there have been league meets at  Benicia HS, Alhambra HS (Martinez), and Piedmont HS, and then grade level finals.

Events in Track Field include: 100 yard dash, 200 yard dash, 400 yard dash, 800 yard run and the mile.  There are also grade/gender relays.  Field events include the long jump, triple jump, high jump, and shot put.  No javelin!
