Josh Seelig

After a 15-year career as an engineer/architect, this is Mr. Seelig’s first year as a full-time teacher, and his is thrilled to start this new chapter of his life at JM. Mr. Seelig received his BA from Yale in Architecture, his MS from UC Berkeley in Civil Engineering, and most recently his Teaching Credential with a focus in Mathematics Instruction from CSU East Bay.  His love of math has been a constant throughout his career and educational journey. He hopes to pass along his passion for the timeless, fascinating qualities of math to his students – especially having students appreciate both the abstract and the practical sides of math.

An East Coast native, Mr. Seelig has lived in California from 11 years. He lives in Berkeley with his wonderful partner and their awesome dog. In his free time, Mr. Seelig enjoys hiking, traveling around the Bay Area, and working in his yard.
