Gina Olson

Mrs. Olson is stepping back into teaching as a Sixth Grade Core teacher.  She earned her B.A. in Liberal Studies as well as a Multiple Subject and English Teaching Credential at Cal State Fullerton University.  After teaching fourth grade in Southern California, she moved to Manhattan where she worked in the fifth grade in a New York City Public School.  In 2006 she moved back to California where she stayed home with her three children (now ages 12, 9 and 7) enjoying community life in Moraga.  Last year Mrs. Olson worked as a Writing Tutor in our 6th, 7th and 8th grade English classrooms. She is thrilled to join the wonderful teaching staff at JM and help transition sixth graders as they begin their journey through middle school!
