JM Staff Recognition

Each semester the staff at JM nominates and votes for one outstanding teacher and one outstanding staff member. For the 1st semester of this school year we are proud to announce that Ms. Warmboe and Ms. Lee were the winners

Carol Robak Teacher Award:

Given to Ms. Warmboe, Social Studies Teacher

K. Warmboe.jpgNow in her ninth year teaching 7th and 8th social studies at JM, Kerry Warmboe can no longer be considered JM's "hidden treasure." She's simply a treasure. By now everyone (students, colleagues and parents) knows that Kerry is a dynamo in the classroom; presenting creative, well-planned lessons in an organized, fun and professional manner. Her knowledge and love of history is irresistible. Kerry's colleagues admire the respect she enjoys from her students, and they appreciate her generosity in sharing and discussing her lessons and ideas.

Carol Fletter Staff Award:

Given to Ms. Lee, School Psychologist

A. Lee.jpgJM's school psychologist, Alyssa Lee is a key participant at JM. Alyssa's duties are wide- ranging, and include working one-on-one with students, consulting with parents and staff, writing detailed reports, observing students in the classroom, and facilitating meetings. Foremost, Alyssa finds and implements strategies to foster success for students with special needs and diverse learning styles. She does it all calmly, professionally, with kindness and a positive attitude. We all appreciate Alyssa's knowledge, skill and admirable work ethic.
