We need parents to volunteer in order to adequately staff the
dance. You can help with check-in, monitor doors, staff the
drink/snack station, clean up and provide snacks or desserts –
there is something for everyone! 7th and 8th grade parents welcome too!

The Moraga Community Faire & Car Show takes place on Saturday May 13 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Rheem Valley Shopping Center and will feature many free activities including classic cars, games, booths and live entertainment.
A $5 pass to the Kidz zone gives you all access to the climbing wall and bounce house.
Check out the food trucks and top off lunch with ice cream or a snow cone.
Ride your bike and take advantage of a free bike valet.
The Lafayette Youth Commission is putting on their last 7th and 8th grade Tri-City Dance of the year on May 5th from 7:30pm-10:00pm at the Lafayette Community Center. The dance will feature an Inflatable Bungie Run and Obstacle Course. It is $12 and pre-registration is required (no sales at the door). Lafayette, Moraga & Orinda 7th and 8th grade students welcome. Strict dress code enforced. Participants are asked to bring a canned food donation. These are safe, drug and alcohol-free events that are chaperoned by Lafayette Staff and Commissioners. CA State Odyssey of the Mind Competition
Our Moraga Rotary sponsored team placed 2nd place in the CA State Odyssey of the Mind competition held in Brentwood on March 25, 2017. They are on their way to the World Competition at Michigan State University in May, 2017. Five of the students in the team are from JM - Alex C., Sebastian F., Vishal L., Ryan E., and Jack E.
Pre-enrollment for the school year 2017-18
Joaquin Moraga Intermediate School is now accepting pre-enrollment for NEW Families to Moraga School District (incoming 6th to 8th graders). Please visit our Moraga School District website for details for registration. When a completed on-line registration is received, we will contact the parents accordingly and set up an appointment to complete the registration process.
