WELCOME TO THE JM LIBRARY!

WELCOME TO THE JM LIBRARY!

Come in and check out the JM Library! We are open Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (unless there is a meeting scheduled after school in the library).  Students may use the library before school, during brunch and lunch, and after school.  In addition to over 11,000 books, we also have textbooks students may use in the library, a printer, and school supplies such as colored pencils, paper, glue sticks and rulers.

We also have a Charging Station near the circulation desk.  If your device is low on battery, stop by and plug your chromebook in.

We have a comfortable lounge area where students are encouraged to curl up with a good book.  We also have cafe seating where students can work on assignments or collaborate with a study group. In the main area of the library, there are many tables set up, perfect for individual studying or group projects.

6th, 7th and 8th graders may check out up to 5 books.  Books are checked out for 3 weeks, and can be renewed if a student needs more time to complete the book.

NEW BOOKS ARRIVING WEEKLY!
Looking for the newest book in a series or from a popular author?  Many of our newest books are displayed on the counters in the main area of the library.  Come and look at the latest books!

Be sure to return your library books when you are finished reading them.  Check with the circulation desk if you are unsure if you have overdue books.  Remember, we do not charge fines for overdue books, but you may not be able to check out more books until your overdue books are returned or renewed. Thank you for your help!

JM Library Has Been Genrefied!

All our fiction titles are now organized by genre (and then by author)!  Every fiction book is now in one of the following categories: Fantasy, Realistic Fiction, Science Fiction, Romance, Adventure, Dystopian, Historical Fiction, Sports Fiction, Mystery, Horror/Suspense, Classics and Humor!  New shelf signage and spine labels will make finding a good book easier for students!
