WELCOME TO THE JM LIBRARY!

WELCOME TO THE JM LIBRARY!

The JM Library is open to students before school starting at 8:00 am, during brunch and lunch, until 3:00 pm.

Students may come into the library to work on homework, finish projects, print documents, receive Chromebook support, play games or take advantage of a quiet place to read. Throughout the day, classes may schedule time in the library.

The JM Library offers more than 10,000 different titles, both fiction and non-fiction at a variety of reading levels. Books are checked out for three weeks and students may check out up to five books at a time. Students can renew books, just stop by the Circulation Desk.

Textbooks are also checked out through the library and are assigned to students for the entire school year.  Textbooks will be returned during the last week of school.  Unless otherwise instructed by a teacher, students are expected to keep their textbooks at home during the school year. Copies of textbooks are available in class and a few extra copies are available in the library for reference use in the library.

The JM Libary also assists with Chromebooks. Students should come to the Library if they experience any problems with their Chromebook. Students should come to school with their devices fully charged but there is a Charging Station near the Circulation Desk.

Finally, we have a black-and-white printer available for student use, although we encourage students to print at home if possible, and school supplies at the Circulation Desk.

NEW BOOKS ARRIVING WEEKLY!

Looking for the newest book in a series or from a popular author?  Many of our newest books are displayed on the counters in the main area of the library.  Come and look at the latest books!

Be sure to return your library books when you are finished reading them.  Check at the Circulation Desk if you are unsure if you have overdue books.  Remember, we do not charge fines for overdue books, but you may not be able to check out more books until your overdue books are returned or renewed. Thank you for your help!

JM Library Is Genrefied!

All our fiction titles are organized by genre, and then alphabetically by author.  Every fiction book is in one of the following categories: Fantasy, Realistic Fiction, Science Fiction, Romance, Adventure, Dystopian, Historical Fiction, Sports Fiction, Mystery, Horror/Suspense, Classics and Humor!
